Alexis has been trained at the A.G Carturla Music School in Havana Cuba and Amadeo Roldan Music School also in Havana Cuba. He is also a Certified music teacher and classically trained.He has performed in Omara Portuondo with Omara, a singer from Buena Vista Social club and has performed in a radio and television Orchestra as 1st trumpet.His idols are Dizzy Gillespie and Wynton Marsalis. He has great technique and adds fire and high energy to the band.
